Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days. Storage beyond this period is not intended.

6. App Analytics (Aptabase)

The DefaultBrowserGuard app uses Aptabase to collect completely anonymous usage data. Aptabase does not collect personal data, IP addresses, and does not use cookies or fingerprinting.

  • Retention period: Up to 5 years
  • Anonymization: Data is 100% anonymized and cannot be traced back to individuals.

Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the app).

7. Contact by E-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, your provided data (e-mail address, name, possibly telephone number, content of the message) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your inquiry).

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, but no later than after 12 months.
